What I'm Extremely Passionate About:

-- Jesus Christ, Son of God, Lover of my soul, King of Heaven and Earth, the Reason I live & breathe!
-- gentle, women-centered Midwifery as the safest & most fulfilling maternity care model for low-risk women
-- Homebirth as the best setting for birth for low-risk women
-- Family: knowing where you come from, where you're going, & choosing love
-- The defense of midwifery, homebirth, and thus family in word and deed with all that I have to give

What I'm Very Passionate About:
-- breastfeeding!  exclusive!  extended!  public!  breastfeeding! 
-- informed consent & choices in health care
-- alternative medicine and holistic, individualized care
-- sensitive, thoughtful, relational evangelism
-- anti-circumcision, sometimes called INTACTivism
-- treating newborns as conscious beings
-- mother-daughter wisdom, trusting feminine instinct
-- missions, international awareness
-- celebrating womanhood
-- attachment parenting
-- natural birth control, awareness about one's own body
-- saving myself for naughty honeymoon sex ;)
-- Cardinals baseball!
-- Mizzou football!
-- making my friends watch birth videos
-- tolerance & nonconformity
-- Christian men who aren't sorry-ass mamma's boys

What I'm Moderately Passionate About:
-- politics as a balance between justice & mercy (& thus Republicans & Democrats)
-- education reform, "unschooling," homeschooling as a viable option
-- natural living and homeopathic remedies
-- mental health advocacy
-- challenging conventional Christian culture
-- not co-habitating before marriage
-- pro-life issues, abortion as oppressive of women's freedom, societal pressure to pick between a sucessful career or being a parent masquerading as "choice", fetuses as humans!
-- parents' right to refuse vaccinations for their children
-- eating organic, eating as healthy as possible
-- responsible drinking, waiting until you're 21
-- effective and humane discipline for children -- no spanking
-- being anti the Americal Medical Association
-- upholding (positive) traditions
-- respect for higher authority
-- public health/global health awareness and intervention
